Rapper Ja Rule was yesterday sentenced to two years in jail after pleading guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon. The gun-possession case stems from a July 2007 stop and search of his car.
Police found a loaded semiautomatic gun in a rear door of the $250,000-plus car after it was stopped for speeding. The rapper who's real name is Jeffery Atkins, will be sentenced in February 2011 and begin his stint in the big house!
