Arsenal Beat Barcelona 2-1

To all those who read my 'Gooners Prayer' yesterday, THANK YOU!!

In a fantastic footballing night at The Emirates, goals from David Villa, and more importantly Robin van Persie and Andrei Arshavin saw Arsenal win a first leg Champions League game which everyone expected us to lose!

The Spanish Champions did not disappoint as they pressed Arsenal from the beginning with their silky passing and skills. Barca went ahead on 26 minutes when Messi fed a ball to David Villa who then nutmegged 'keeper Szczesny as Gooners everywhere began to think the worst. This is after Messi missed a chance in the beginning stages of the match and Robin Van Persie missed a glorious chance to equalise fired just wide.. The Gunners then saw out the rest of the half, but no one could predict what was to come.

Arsenal began strong in the second half pressing Barcelona who again retained a lot of the ball. Arsenal gave as good as they got and had a few chances, but could not put the chances away. Alex Song was replaced on 68 mintues by Andrei Arshavin, just as well because he could have been sent off after picking up a yellow card. On 77 minutes Nicklas Bendtner came on for Theo Walcott, who played well, but could not seem to break Barca's defence, this is when things changed!

On 78 minutes Gael Clichy chipped a shot in to the waiting Robin Van persie on his weaked right foot and what came next had to be seen twice as RVP equalised from a very accute angle and the Arsenal faithful in the Emirates raised the roof , could Arsenal smell an upset???

At this point I was reasdy for the referee to blow the whistle, but Arsenal had not finished. After another Barcelona attack Jack Wilshere came away with the ball, dribbled up filed, found Cesc Fabregas who played a first time ball to Samir Nasri who cut in from the right, held up the ball, fed the oncoming Arshavin who cooly curled the ball past the stranded Victor Valdes.

This is set up the longest 7 minutes +2 for extra time, but we made it through to set up a thrilling secong leg at the Nou Camp in two weeks where i'm pretty sure the Spainards will want some revenge!

Look out for the second 'Gooners Prayers' soon...

Sisters Face Jail After Paying For Boob Jobs With Stolen Credit Card

Two sisters from Kilburn, have been found guilty of using stolen credit cards to pay for boob jobs. Ramona 27,(left) and 25 year old Rishona Downes used stolen credit cards to pay for the surgery at The Harley Medical Group in London in 2008, but were rumbled six months after when a technology firm notice a payment of £8,090 made on behalf of the sisters.

The sisters put the reasons for wanting the surgery down to feeling inadequate to other females and and the affect child birth had on Rishona's body. A third person who has not been named also face jail time as they supplied the Downes' with the stolen details.

In court the sisters said they thought the credit card belonged to the unnamed person, who they were going to pay back when they could, but they were still found guilty after a week long case at Sothwark Crown Court.

Rishona, of Willesden, North London, admitted two counts of fraud, whilst Ramona, from Kilburn, admitted to one. They were both granted bail and are due to be sentenced on April 4th.

In feel for them man, public perceptions of the female body lead to to do something really stupid.

Seriously Lil' Kim???

Look at this bullsh*t!

I was a bigg Lil' Kim fan back in the day, but I think she needs to go sit down! She definitely did her thing for hip hop and females in hip hop, but your time has past!!

Everyone has their time to shine and right now it's Nicki's. I know rap battles are part of hip hop culture, but I juust see the image she's depicting on the cover of this mixtape is disrespectful.

Apparently she is charging $9.99 for the cd, which will more than likely leak on to the net.

I won't be entertaining this one AT ALL!!

A Gooners Prayer

Dear lord

Please guide and protect our men tonight as we aim for glory! May no ankle be twisted or broke and no hamstring be pulled.

Lord we ask that you stem the flow of attack upon attack from the Spaniards, put your hands upon Chesney’s and allow him to let no ball pass the hallowed posts and lead us in to despair.

Let us sing a 'Song’ of triumph as Cesc sprays balls on to the waiting holy head and left peg of Robin of Holland, and allow the youthful ability of Theo to walk on grass as he leaves no stone unturned and no defender by his side as he reigns down on the clock end goal to heaven!

Although we wish no injury on last season’s oppressors, give us the strength to overcome the giant that is Xavi and the miracle that is Messi as they send thunder bolts down on to our beloved Emirates turf.

Give Kos, Johan, Eboue and Gael the strength and determination of David as you did against Goliath and spare Denilson when he is in trouble, whilst not leading the Russian in to temptation.

In Arsene’s name we pray…

The almighty Gooners!

New Video: Didd-Dirty Money Ft. Chris Brown- Yesterday

Ciara Breaks Her Silence Via Facebook

Ciara took to her Facebook fanpage to clear up rumours about being dropped from her record label...

“The net has been a buzz of the rumor that I have been dropped from my label. At this point that rumor is false.. It is true that I have asked and I pray that my label will release me,” she wrote.

She says, at this point, she and Jive no longer “share the same views on who I am as an artist.”

“The past two albums have been very frustrating for me,” she admits. “At times there were songs I chose to lead a project and I was ignored! This project, I even tried to get ‘Gimmie Dat’ started I spent tens of thousands of my own money only to hear the radio PDs tell me my label didn’t want the song played. I even spent more than one hundred thousand dollars out of my pocket on the video to bring my vision to it and still no label support.”

“I’ve tried to be a team player with the label only to have compromised what I truly believed and was not given the right opportunity to promote and inform my fans of the release of this album.”

Times are tough, but Ciara says she remains “dedicated to my music, performance and to my fans” and a release from her contract would “allow me to go be creative with people who care and understand me as an artist.”

Chris Brown's 'F.A.M.E.' Album Cover

Here is the album cover for Breezy's F.A.M.E. (which now stands for 'Fans Are My Everything', it was originally 'Forgiving All My Enemies') album, which is due out at the end of the month. I don't know about you, but I like it!

Gonna be interesting to see how this album sounds and the content of some of the songs considering everything he has been through over the last couple of years.

5 Songs For Seduction

Some people really get in to the spirit of Valentines Day and some simply don’t! Either way, when it’s time to show that special somebody in your life they are appreciated there are various ways you can do it and below I have selected 5 Songs For Seduction’ to help get the festivities started!

Let’s get it in...

1. Floetry- Say Yes

The perfect combo of Natalie’s smooth spoken word and Marsha’s second to none vocals definitely makes this a seduction song for me. Lyrically mesmerising from beginning to end, the ladies know exactly what it takes to put you at ease and open you up to so much more...

2. Jamie Foxx Ft. Marsha Ambrosius- Freakin' Me

The multi-faceted performer goes in hard on this track. With lyrics like-

“…Apart of me wants apart of you baby, You started it now come and give me what I've been waiting for, Ooh your lips are pressed against it, I can't resist you, don't you tease me no more (tease me no more…)"

Do I really need to continue to explain why this is a song for seduction?

That fact that he enlists one of my favourite singers to enhance the moment doesn’t hurt either!

3. Janet Jackson- Anytime Any place

This song oozes sexiness, Miss Jackson (if ya nasty) doesn’t care where she gets it in either (excuse the pun)

4. Trey Songz- We Should Be...

The title alone is suggestive, so it already gives you a flavour of what is to come! Whilst serenading his favourite lady Mr Songz let’s her know exactly what he wants to do ‘for’ and more importantly ‘to’ her. The subtle flute harmonies set the tone for a very grown and sexy affair. This is definitely a mood setter.

5. Jon B- Multiple

Now anything that involves 'multiples' in the bedroom is sure to please any woman...

So there you have it, my 5 songs for seduction! For those of you who do not have the tracks you can purchase them from www.priceminister.co.uk here: Soul & Funk at really reasonable prices, so check that out too!

Now go forth and do what it do, but please remember, if you can’t be good, be safe!

Rastamouse Causes New Race Row

It seems that some parents are not loving the new BBC kids show Rastamouse, as they feel it could 'cause friction in the playground' if their children are using the likkle natty mouses' slang terms.

In today's Metro, a parent is quoted as saying-

"My child is white and I feel if she was to say this (the mouses slang terms) to another child who was not white it would be seen as her insulting the other child"

So she basically doesn't want her child to say 'Wah gwaan bredgrin' to little Shaneeqa and she takes offence, rather than the two then realising they both like/love the same show and now have more in common!

The show has already received 95 complaints (Oooooooooh...) and has been described as 'like listening to a drunk white man do a really terrible rasta impersonation'.

The BBC said:

'Rastamouse is a part of a rich and varied schedule dedicated to reflecting the lives of all children'.

Surely there are more important things to complain about right now, 'llow di likkle mouse nuh lol
