International reggae star, Buju Banton, was sentenced to 10 years in a US prison for his role in a cocaine deal. Buju escaped further sentence for gun posession, which would have added a further 6 years to his sentence.
With time already served and good behaviour, the popular artist could be out within 6 years.
After sentencing Buju said-
"The man is not dead. Don't call him a ghost," said 37-year-old Banton in a statement. "The days that lie ahead are filled with despair, but I have courage and grace and I'm hopeful, and that is sufficient to carry me through."
X Factor judge, Louis Walsh, has been accused of sexually assaulting a 24 year old male in a Dublin bar toilet.
The alledged incident, which took place some 8 weeks ago has only now come to light. The un-named man has been described by bar staff as a 'Star chaser' and is more than likely looking for his 15 minutes of fame.
Walsh is said to be distraught by the allegations and catergorically denies anything happened! In a statement he said-
'I've been stitched up. I'm going to fight this - I'm not going to let someone who wants to tarnish my name get away with it.'
Friends and colleagues from the celebrity world have leapt to his defence. This includes X Factor boss and friend Simon Cowell, who went on record saying-
''Like a lot of people in the business I think the world of Louis and totally believe that these claims are as ridiculous as they are upsetting for him. I have spoken to him at length and I know he is very upset by these scurrilous allegations but lots of people like myself have called him to reassure him.''
Walsh has not been charged and said he will help the police with their investigations.
And finally, what started on Twitter as just banter has now been taken to the street.
For those who didn't know, Chris Brown and Odd Future members Frank Ocean and Tyler (The Creator) had a lil' slanging match. Well now, a video has surfaced of some dudes who are supposed to be Breezy's cousins 'offering out' Frank Ocean in LA.
If you ask my opinion, this is the kinda stupidness that Chris needs to be staying away from. With all his past problems he really needs to concentrate on his music.
