Rihanna 'Taps' Breezy for 'Birthday Cake' Remix...
That's right, you read it correctly, Rihanna and Chris Breezy are making sweet... music together for teh remix of RiRi's 'Birthday Cake' joint, which she will be releasing next week on (or around) her own birthday!
The Bajan beauty tweeted a few eeks ago that she would feature a 'hot... Dirty (in a good way)... and male' co-star on the track, and it's now been revealed it's Chris. He has apparently recorded a singing and a rap version and they're not sure which will officially be released.
The singer will actually be in London on her actual birthday (20th Feb). Peep the pic of her cake she had at her party the other night, of which Chris was a guest (he tried to get the attendees to sign confidentiality statements to say he wasn't there also), the cake depicts Rihanna straddling/riding/grinding on a giant spliff!!
Nice idea RiRi...
I personally think these two are destined to be together, lessons have been learnt and other avenues tried! Can't hate on their lurrrrrve...

Happy 1st Birthday To Me...
On Saturday 1st October I celebrated the first anniversary of That Neon Kool Nerd.Blogspot.com.
The previous night I had Chinese food from my local and that resulted in me getting food poisoning and being laid out (literally...) until Sunday night, but that's a whole other issue!
When I started the blog I never imagined it would do as well as it has! It hasn't set the internet alight, but it has a decent loyal following and steady visitors each month. I had originally planned to see how it went for a few months and then decide whether or not to continue with it. Thankfully it all worked out!
I'd like to thank my friends and family that have continually supported me and my vision, those who visit daily, weekly, monthly, those who get pissed when I don't post regularly from time to time, those who comment, those who retweet, those who direct people to the site, those who point out my spelling mistakes, those who dry hate and those who snoop through the blog to get news...
My goal is to continue to go from strength to strength, and this year I'm also hoping to turn the blog from mine to ours with a few contributors being brought in to share the load, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Nas Celebrates his 38th Birthday With The Homies...
Nas turned 38 yesterday, and had a lil' shindig with Common, Jay-Z, AZ, Zoe Saldana, Steve Stoute, Carmelo Anthony and Lala, DJ Khaled, Preemo and others.
Nas also shares his birthday with Amy Winehouse and made sure he took some time out to honour and remember the recently deceased star in a tweet, saying-
"Thanks for the #HappyBirthdayNas love... Don't forget my sis #HappyBirthdayAmy!"

Happy Birthday Dr Martin Luther King
Saturday 15th January marked the 81st birthday of Dr Martin Luther king.
Martin Luther King, Jr. was an American clergyman activist, and prominent leader in the African American Civil Rights Movement. He is best known for being an iconic figure in the advancement of civil rights in the United States and around the world, using nonviolent methods following the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi. King is often presented as a heroic leader in the history of modern American liberalism.
In 1964, King became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his work to end racial segregation and racial discrimination through civil disobedience and other nonviolent means. By the time of his death in 1968, he had refocused his efforts on ending poverty and stopping the Vietnam War.
King was assassinated on April 4, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1977 and Congressional Gold Medal in 2004; Martin Luther King, Jr. Day was established as a U.S. federal holiday in 1986.
