Weekend Round-Up

The snow arrived this weekend to cement the F*CKERY COLD WEATHER that we are being subjected to of late! With christmas also under a month away that Coca Cola truck ad is now on tv and supermarkets are trying to undercut each other on Celebrations/Roses and Quality Street tubs.

Channel 4 screened the Birmingham/British film '1 Day' this week and I honestly can't remember the last time I caught so much jokes with my Twitter folk! Shout out to @Madnewsblog and @XianLoves. A lot of people didn't have anything good to say about it, but I enjoyed it when I first saw a while back. Also, if you check out the DVD extras you'll see that the actors in the film are doing a lot of positive work for their communities...

Boom Boom (my daughter) was with Granddad for the weekend so I figured I'd take advantage and get back on the socialising scene as I'd be able to lay in on Saturday and Sunday morning. If I had to choose some choice statements to describe the parties on Friday and Saturday night/early morning they would be- (insert alcoholic beverage here) _________ & Red Bull, bashment songs I've never heard and don't care to again, dark skinned Nicki Minaj and Sagitarian birthday celebrations.

Now I know I may sound like a hypocrite, but I logged back on to X Factor this week, mainly to see who would go and let's just say justice was served!

My prediction for the final three is Matt (minus the wife-beater), One Direction (who met their inspiration this week Justin Bieber) and 'stiff as hell' Rebecca.

My boys (THE MIGHTY ARSENAL) got back to winning ways after a week to forget, Berbatov sent Man U to the top of the table with 5 goals against Blackburn whilst Chelsea lost ground up at Newcastle. This week an incredible 41 goals were scored in the premiership.

A lot of new music this week with albums from Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Miguel, Black Eyed Peas, Jasmine Sullivan, and mixtapes from Marsha Ambrosius, Chris Breezy and Trey Songz. Make sure you check out my album reviews at http://socialwriters.blogspot.com/...
