Hailing from the East London Grime scene, aspiring artist Xploder is about to embark on his musical journey, with a transition of style from boy to man, underground to commercial. The name alone may seem intimidating to most, but it’s simply just an expression, for the unexpected talent Xploder embraces within his inner shell. As quite a reserved individual, he is known to astound music lovers with his explosive lyrical energy and musical abilities.
The progression of Xploder’s previous two singles “Don’t Trust You” and “So True” has brought him new fans as well as entertaining old ones. He is now ready to unleash his forth-coming EP Line of Fire, which has already gained support from radio stations such as BBC 1Xtra, BBC Radio 1, Kiss 100 and Choice FM following the “Fly like a G6” remix he did to give a fans a taste of what’s to come.
With personal influences from a varied list of artists, such as
Dizzee Rascal, Coldplay, Jay-Z, Ludacris, Michael Jackson, Nas, Outkast, Stevie Wonder and UB40, he is definitely set to establish a new niche in today’s music market.
Having been on the musical circuit for the past 4 years, Xploder has gained a huge amount of exposure. He initially started rapping, producing his own material, then going on to become a member of the infamous, 'Highly Rated Camp.’ Within this urban collective he was able to further his musical talents alongside his best friend Beckz Winter and brother 'D.Dark.’ The success of his music, independently and as part of the Highly Rated Entertainment company was recognised across the underground scene, with many appearances made on UK pirate and internet radio stations such as Mystic, Deja Vu, Rinse, Heat, Axe and Manic. The breakthrough across the underground market, also lead to appearances and airtime plays on commercial radio stations.
