Rihanna Upsets Farmers...??? **UPDATED WITH PICS***

Whilst filming her new video 'We Found Love' featuring the UKs Calvin Harris, RiRi was shooting a topless scene and a local farmer thought it was a tad bit inappropriate.

Farmer Alan Graham spotted her antics and he insisted she stick some more clothes on.

He said-

"I thought it was inappropriate. I requested them to stop and they did. I had my conversation with Rihanna and I hope she understands where I'm coming from. We shook hands."

Graham, who is a member of the local council, admitted to not knowing who the chart-topper was when he was asked for the use of his land for the clip last week.

He added-

"I didn't know who was coming. If the name Rihanna had been mentioned, well, no disrespect but it wouldn't have meant anything."

I'd just like to go on record and say Rihanna would be more than welcome to perform topless in my garden anytime!

New Scarface Movie On The Way???

Universal Pictures is developing a new version of Scarface, the title first released in 1932 and then turned into the iconic 1983 film that starred Al Pacino as Cuban gangster Tony Montana. I’d heard that the studio has been meeting writers to script a take for a film that will be produced by Marc Shmuger and Martin Bregman. Bregman produced the Pacino version.

“The film is not intended to be a remake or a sequel. It will take the common elements of the first two films: an outsider, an immigrant, barges his way into the criminal establishment in pursuit of a twisted version of the American dream, becoming a kingpin through a campaign of ruthlessness and violent ambition. The studio is keeping the specifics of where the new Tony character comes from under wraps at the moment, but ethnicity and geography were important in the first two versions.”

R Kelly Reveals New Album Details And Addresses A Few 'Issues'

R Kelly plans to return to the music scene with his 11th album titled 'Black Panties'.

He recently stopped by 107.5 WGCI's Morning Riot radio show in Chicago to discuss a few things in a rare interview.

After his last album 'Love Letter' many thought Kelly had decided to take a new direction, but in a recent interview the singer set the record straight and let his fans know he can still get down with the best in the 'grown and sexy' RnB world.

"I just did the whole Love Letter joint and everybody thinking, 'Oh that's the direction he's goin' now, that was a moment in time, just like 'Ignition' and 'Bump n' Grind' and all this stuff was a moment in time. Now this Black Panties album ... it's the new 12 Play."

The singer also spoke about his recent throat surgery drama and the criticism his received from Trey Songz. About his throat cyst scare Kelly said-

"It was really scary, at the end of the Love Letter Tour, towards the end, I started feeling it. I thought I had a cold, but, man, I had like a cyst as big as a golf ball on my tonsils. The doctor's though, they cut it out, they took care of me really good."

In relation to Songz, the veteran crooner seemed to shrug off the what was said about him-

"I was pretty numb. I don't feel those type of things. It's like I'm bulletproof when it comes to beef. I don't deal with beef, I love steak."

"I know Trey Songz is a guy that if he keeps with the hits and he humbles himself a little bit more, he will definitely be one of the runners up."

He did though, have some good things to say about Chris Brown, who himself has had his fair share of controversy over the last couple of years.

"Someone like Chris Brown is already there! Why? Because he is and always has been a humble guy. Chris Brown used to come to my studio when he was 13, 14, 15, 16. I used to lecture him all the time. I have the utmost respect for him. I take my hat off to him. Why? Because he got in the studio, did what he was supposed to do, and bounced back like a round ball."

Sounds like Kells isn't about to get in to any verbal silliness with Trey anytime soon! Perhaps he only talks to platinum selling artists #JustSaying...

Look out for the first single off of his new album '10 Minutes' dropping soon...

Common Spills The Beans On Erykah Badu...

Rapper and Actor Common has released his memoirs 'One Day It Will All Make Sense', and finally gives us some insight in to his relationship with Erykah Badu.

Common recently appeared on The Wendy Williams Show and revealed that he received a phone call from a woman he dated from 2000-2002 saying it was over.

"She handed it to me. I was in my hotel room on tour and ...she called me and was like, 'Hey, I don't wanna be in this relationship no more. I'm liking somebody else. That was my first love and my first heartbreak" the rapper said.

He did however go on to say that there were no hard feelings, and he and Badu are still friends.

"It taught me a lot of things, and when it happened I kinda really got into myself and really learned about myself and I was able to move on, and now me and E is real cool."

One Day It Will All Make Sense is available to buy now.

New Music: Juliyaa- Rhythm

I came across this vid and something told me to give it a listen... Thank God I did!

Forgive me if I'm late, but I'd never heard of Juliyaa until I heard this song so I did a bit of investigating, and here's what I came up with...

Juliyaa is a singer-songwriter ready to burst on to the UK music scene with the release of her first single, 'The Rhythm'.

Born and raised in North London to a Ghanaian mother and a Welsh father, twenty three year old Juliyaa has had a unique musical heritage. She was raised listening to her mother's traditional Ghanaian gospel and hi life, and her father's classic vinyl collection of soul and reggae artists including Al Green, Bob Marley and Toots & The Maytals. At the tender age of seven she began songwriting in church and then in her teens refined her skills as a vocalist on the UK garage scene singing alongside artists including the Heartless Crew and Estelle.

Naturally, her music is a reflection of her rich and varied background. Rooted in African-inspired rhythms, layered with harmonious soul vocals and infused with the high energy of UK urban music, Juliyaa effortlessly combines different musical genres into a sound she calls 'Rhythmic Soul'.
Recently Juliyaa has been showcasing her talents at some of London's most prestigious venues including Camden Proud, Regal Rooms, The Troubadour and The Station Sessions.

Get more info on Juliyaa at www.juliyaa.com

What do you think of her debut single? let me know... And peep an early interview and live performance after also!

Musiq Addresses Breast Cancer Awareness In New Video For 'YES'

Musiq Soulchild is doing his part to raise awareness for breast cancer. As the new ambassador for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Circle of Promise, the R&B crooner will feature a group of breast cancer survivors in the video for “YES,” the latest single off his sixth album, MUSIQINTHEMAGIQ.

In the powerful clip, Musiq plays a man who supports his girlfriend through her tough battle with breast cancer. A group of breast cancer survivors appear in one scene wearing T-shirts, pins, and pink ribbons to represent Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

“Early detection is the key to winning the fight against breast cancer,” said Musiq. “Too often, black women are diagnosed in stage three and four when breast cancer is most difficult to treat. Some women are afraid to seek treatment for fear of losing their breasts or their hair. One’s physical appearance is much less important than the will to live. It’s time to remove the stigmas that are attached to this disease.”

Remembering Tupac 15 Years On...

Today marks the fifteen year anniversary of the death of influential rapper/actor and poet Tupac Amaru Shakur.

Tupac was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in September 1996. His killers have never been brought to justice, although there has been many conspiracy theories.

Tupac released 7 albums before he died and 8 posthumous. He also starred in many movies including- Juice, Poetic Justice, Gridlock'd and Above The Rim.

Although 'Pac had many songs, I'd have to say this is one of if not my favourite.
